Life in the garden inspires the June show, “Buds & Bugs,”
at the Outstanding In Its Field Gallery, featuring 16 island artists, June 7-30, 2024. The gallery offers a wide range of price points in a choice array of media including oil paintings, blown glass, baskets, monoprints, etched glass, sculpture, stained glass, and watercolors. The Gallery is located at 10524 S.W. 188th St, just west of Sawbones, and will be open Saturdays – Sundays, from Noon – 5 pm, and weekdays by appointment by calling 206.419.0199.

A portion of the proceeds from this show will benefit the Vashon Maury Garden Club.

During First Friday’s festivities, from 5 – 8 pm, meet the artists and enjoy a free performance by Kat Eggleston from 5:30 to 7:30. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the music in our “party pasture.” During First Friday and throughout the Show, the gallery will offer fresh Bake Sale Bites, benefitting the Garden Club. Outstanding In Its Field Gallery is open May – October each year with monthly themed-exhibits featuring Vashon Island Artists almost exclusively. The gallery will also be open for the VIVA Art Tours in May and December.
